Al Jazeera Mubasher - Last week, six-year-old Adam Afana, a Palestinian child from Gaza, was admitted to the American University of Beirut Medical Center, becoming the first Gaza casualty to receive treatment. Adam sustained serious injuries after surviving an Israeli airstrike that killed his father, sister, and aunt. He was initially treated in Egypt. He is now receiving medical and psychological care in Beirut, thanks to the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund, which is a significant step forward in his recovery.
