The Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund has provided an update on Adam Afana, the first Gaza-injured child to be treated in Lebanon. Following severe injuries from Israeli airstrikes and the deaths of several family members, Adam arrived in Beirut on May 27 for treatment at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. His treatment includes both physical and psychological support, which aligns with the fund's holistic approach to healing. The initiative aims to provide extensive care for war-wounded children while also rebuilding Gaza's medical resources. Adam's story highlights the broader humanitarian crisis and the urgent need for specialised care.
